Dr Ravikumar Karunakaran-Urologist at Aster MIMS

Dr Ravikumar Karunakaran serves as HOD and Senior Consultant in the Department of Urology. His areas of interest are Endourology and Uro-Aoncology. Being an eminent urologist and transplant surgeon, he has extensive experience in the field and has done over 350 successful transplants till time.

He has qualified his MBBS from Madras University, MS in General Surgery from Mangalore University and DNB in General Surgery as well as Urology. Dr Ravikumas has been the Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences and also holds a Diploma in Laparoscopy.

Prior to joining Aster MIMS, he was working as Consultant Urologist and Transplant Surgeon at Medical Trust Hospital, Ernakulum.
