- Partial Hysterectomy: – In partial hysterectomy surgeon remove some part of uterus.
- Total Hysterectomy: – In total hysterectomy surgeon remove entire uterus.
- Hysterectomy and Salpingo-oophorectomy: – Inthis procedure surgeon remove both ovaries and fallopian tube with uterus. After removal of both ovaries patient need hormone replacement therapy.
- Abdominal hysterectomy: – In abdominal hysterectomy removal of entire uterus is performed by giving large horizontal or vertical incisions to the abdomen.
- Vaginal Hysterectomy: – In vaginal hysterectomy uterus is removed by giving small incision into vagina.
- Laparoscopic hysterectomy: -In laparoscopic hysterectomy laparoscope is used as guide for the removal of uterus.
