Admin_NHT Staff asked 6 years ago Toxic shock syndrome is life threatening complication cause due to bacterial toxins which spread by group of bacteria like streptococcus. Toxic shock syndrome affect to the men postmenopausal women or children. The woman who uses tampons, menstrual cups, contraceptive sponges or diaphragms are having high risk for toxic shock syndrome. Also the patient having skin wound or surgery also causes toxic shock syndrome.
- Symptoms:- High fever, low blood pressure, sunburn rashes, confusion, muscle ache, red eyes, redness in mouth and throat, seizures, headache.
- Complication: – The patient with toxic shock syndrome may shows complications like shock, kidney failure and death.
