Ayurvedic Physician Arya Vaidyan N. Rama Varier founded this center in 1930 at Madurai. Then, from a humble beginning, AVN Group has three generations working towards the center’s growth, with a whole range of activities. Currently, Vaidyan P.V. - It was founded in 1930 at Madurai under Ayurvedic Physician Arya Vaidyan N. Rama Varier’s guidance.
- The firm celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1980
- Hospitals established manufacturing facilities to manufacture Ayurvedic medicines on a large scale.
- The center started as A small Nursing Home and Research Centre.
- In 1994, AVN launched a Special Products Division for specific chronic diseases under exclusive brand names.
- It formed a new company called “Arya Vaidya Nilayam Ltd” and established a new factory with the ultimate objective of getting WHO GMP certification.
- The AVN group decided to restructure the operations by separate companies for different activities.
- AVN Arogya Ayurvedic Hospital became the First NABH certified hospital in Tamil Nadu in 2017.
