Brief Introduction- National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata

This institute was established on December 10th, 1975, in Kolkata. It acts as an Autonomous Organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. National Institute of Homeopathy Kolkata provides a degree course in Homoeopathy. This Institute is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.

The institute also offers a PG course (Doctor of Medicine in Homoeopathy) in 5 subjects from 1998-99; namely:

• Materia Medica
• Practice of Medicine
• Pediatrics and
• Homoeopathic Pharmacy
