Surgery for cancer basically targets for extraction of the tumorous outgrowth along with their neighboring cells. Surgical removal is the oldest treatment for cancer. There is a special oncological surgeon who does the surgery to remove the cancerous outgrowth. The surgery is usually performed in its initial stages.
